It was a beautiful day out, so I got my ass outside and tried to push the Bronco to the edge of the driveway so I could get the 850 out of the carport. The bumpy, slightly uphill driveway combined with my limited 115 lbs of person meant I got 2-3'.

Got my neighbor to help, and I was presented with enough room to wiggle the Volvo free from it’s prison. Then they got a small hose-down. Meaning one side only, because the hose couldn’t reach.

I only paid $200 for mine.

Not a bad deal! I probably invested about $500 in mine before donating it. Mechanically it was pretty great! Just needed new tires, and a few odds and ends.

Wait, what happened to the Bronco? I feel like I’m missing something here, why did it need to be pushed out of the way?

Bronco threw a rod back in October. Then winter came, so it’s sat up until about a month ago when I started getting ready to pull the engine.

They really are pretty great. I had to do a ball joint, CV axle, and tires when I first got it. As it sits now, I should just need a tire and a battery then she’ll be good to go.
